So basically I need some guidance on how to go about my idea. I'v looked up some tricks and downloaded the logo pack. However, I'm still a little overwhelmed.

My Idea: The Western Baseball Association. Start Year 1910
Its starts off with 8 teams from the Moutain/West regions, and runs ALONG SIDE the MLB. I plan on expanding the league in 1920, 1950,1980 etc.. The Semi-Pro League, Collegian League, and the High school league will be the three minor league levels.

My concern is if there is a way to make sure the MLB does not expand into my territory? Also is there any tips you guys have? If there are some must read threads about starting my fantasy/historical league they would be much appreciated!

Edit: Another question will the league's stats automatically evolve or will I be stuck with 80 years of 1910 ball?
