The Blues fans saw their team confirm that they are the worst team in the AL league again. They picked up only 3 wins and 6 losses during September to see them rooted to the bottom of the AL Table.

The batting was solid in the month of September with 53 runs scored. The best batter in the month was Second Baseman John Dailey. Dailey started all 9 games with 35 at bats. He picked up 17 hits to produce an average of .486. He also scored 6 runs and 7 RBI's. This earned him both the AL Batter of the Month and AL Rookie of the Month for September.
