1st September 1874

The fans of the Cleveland Blues saw an improved month during August as the team posted a 6-4 record. This still left the team in last place in the AL as they now sit 10 games behind the leading Baltimore Canaries. With only 12 games left it is unlikely that the team will win this years pennant.
