Except that's not always the case. I speak from personal experience here: sometimes no matter how much time and effort and research and planning one puts into a feature suggestion, it can still meet the anti-"crusade" jpeters mentions. I encountered this myself a couple of months ago (or at least, it sure felt that way to me).
The attitude was sufficiently off-putting that I departed for two months (see my current sig). If I encounter that attitude yet again I just may return to exile, this time permanently.
