Well we've added a new coder so maybe if it's not time consuming it can be done. I'm all for retired players, coaches etc passing on at some point based simply on life expectancy and also hope that wouldn't be hard to add. It woudl be nice when looking at history to find nobody well over 100. It's actually more depressing to see somebody that's a 180 and must be suffering than to see they died at age 95
I hate asking for options as there are so many now but I would like to turn off deaths for active players if this were added. It's been depressing enough IRL when a player is dies in some way. I try to get away from those things when I play OOTP (and yes I have drugs turned off in my league
) Sure I could go in and "bring them back" in commish mode and that would be ok if it were the only way to add this. But I don't mess in my league using commish mode to "correct" things and I'd rather keep it that way. Without an option there would have to be a news item for every death(and you'd have to be diligent about checking the news daily) otherwise how would one know someone needed to be resurrected?
