Thumbs up Opt Out Clauses & Player Contracts

There should be opt-out clauses for players when signing them as free agents or to extensions. I like being able to decide to give them player/vesting/team options on the LAST 2 YEARS, but when signing players to 6-10 year contracts, I think that you should be able to give options for opt-out clauses.

ALSO

Negotiating contracts with free agents is too easy. If a player wants $22MM plus for 5 years i can easily get him down to $15-$18MM a year. Also, I was able to sign a young prospect for 10y/$2.5MM-$3.5MM easily and lock him up for a long time. The AL should be tougher on contracts and extensions.
