The Fans of the Baltimore Canaries are on tenterhooks knowing they are almost their. They lead the AL by 2.5 games over the Philadelphia Athletics. The team only needs to win one of its last 2 games and they have won a second consecutive AL Pennant. Even if they lose both games they are still in a play off for the title as the Philadelphia Athletics have 3 games left. In September the team went 6-3.
