Yes, check filters.
Problem I've found with OOTP is, if you happen to be on your lineup screen to go straight to FA's (I use a shortcut key) then it only lists batters. I have to change the filter setting to all players.
Same if I'm on my rotation page. It seems to hold the setting for some reason.
