End of Season 2027
San Diego finished in 1st place in the NL West with a record of 94-68. The Padres finished 6 games ahead of the 2nd place Giants. The record feels a little deceiving. The team had a hot April and a hot August, but only played slightly above .500 ball for the rest of the season. Still, those two dominant months were enough to keep the team on top of the division. It’s now time to see if the best pitching staff in the NL can power this team through the playoffs.
