Spitfire - I do have a problem with trolls who repeatedly harp and post incessant gripes that have been well documented, either to boost their post count at best, on down to just being trolls who are contributing nothing but annoying the folks working on this game. The point here is to get a product to fruition, it shouldn't be about me poking back at a troll.

These twits can post whatever they want and I can't stop them. I equate them to the awful co-worker who smells bad and picks his nose in plain sight at his desk. While I may have to work with him, I don't have to like or tolerate his presence and if I can do certain things to make his presence uncomfortable for him so they leave - no loss to these forums IMHO

I would actually like to engage him/them in a live discussion to find out what the problems/expectations are about this game in a productive format. I play sports sims and wargames as my hobby and I have seen many games released that are buggy or undergo numerous updates that do not fix the problem or create three other problems instead and most of them are six months of frustrated play and then into the trash heap. Then there are those games just like EHM or War in the Pacific that develop a cult following that supports the game long past the game company that released it!

How do you make these twits understand that EHM is literally a one in a million game? It is one of the VERY few lottery winners in small company programming and what it really did was provide a career with a large game company for the originator? Yet when it was produced as a commercial venture that EHM was NOT successful? It's why the cult following almost religiously updates an ancient (2007) code based program, because there is not enough commercial following for sports sims to have EA or a major game company take the risk?

WHY do we need to support OOTP/FHM since they are one of the few to follow a similar path and achieve moderate success? Because without them trying (and sometimes failing) there is no OOTP or FHM, that these forums would just be announcements from some EA type corporate speak drone that doesn't even know the game.

Now feel free to rip me or poke fun, but I've been around the block a time or three, and I have appreciation of what 18 and 24 hour work days are like and the lack of appreciation for what goes into this "love" and work affair. From the missed dinners and family time, the sacrifices of your family to support your job and your "dreams". That is exactly what I mean when I say to Sebastian that I got your back! So I guess your right after all Spitfire,
