Marvel Pitcher

He's in the early phase of his career, but this past season Clint Barton performed like a veteran on the hill for the Good Heroes and walked away with the Super League Marvel Pitcher in the process.

The 23-year-old Heroes star fashioned a 2-0 won-loss record in 2014 with a 0.41 ERA. In 22 innings of work and 3 starts, Barton struck out 29 while giving up 11 hits and 3 walks. He held opposing batters to a .149 average.Remi LeBeau of the Good Heroes finished second in voting, while Lester Bullseye of the Evil Villains finished third.

Marvel Batter

Good's Steve Rogers put up some impressive numbers during the 2014 campaign to seal his bid for Marvel Batter. The 24-year-old catcher hit Super League pitchers with first class efficiency as he piled up a .400 batting average.

He also included 4 hits, no doubles, no triples, 2 home runs and 4 RBIs to round out the year in fine style.Peter Parker of the Good Heroes finished second in voting, while Scott Summers of the Good Heroes finished third.

Infinity Gauntlet

Defense is a critical element in the game of baseball. Many times late in the game, a light-hitting defensive specialist will be inserted in place of a superstar hitter. Good defenders are worth their weight in gold and today the best of them for 2014 have been recognized. These players will receive the Super League Infinity Gauntlet:

Pitcher: Otto Octavius (Evil Villains)
Catcher: Steve Rogers (Good Heroes)
First Baseman: Hank McCoy (Good Heroes)
Second Baseman: Eddie Brock (Evil Villains)
Third Baseman: Johann Red Skull (Evil Villains)
Shortstop: Peter Parker (Good Heroes)
Left Fielder: Tony Stark (Good Heroes)
Center Fielder: Pietro Maximoff (Evil Villains)
Right Fielder: Odinson Thor (Good Heroes)

MVP

While a number of players had great performances over the three games none stood out more than the Hawkeye. His pitching kept the scores low so that the heroes could get the necessary runs to win. He struck out 29 batters and none of the villains knew how to deal with him. "I was just glad to do my part for the teams victory" he said when asked about receiving the award. "I hope next year I can be even better and help us to two wins in a row". Second in voting was Captain America and third was Spiderman. The pitching trumped the batting this year.
