A surprise pick at the top of the year for me atleast.
John Montefusco is the top pick, and he does pass the eye test. I love
Pedro Guerrero's bat, and
Dave Winfield's power. The
Brewers go with pitching though, and if
Montefusco lives up to his initial ratings, then it's a excellent pick.
No Hall of Fame inductees for the third straight year!! Those doors are getting very difficult to open!
Johnny Bench and
Dick Allen are both shadows of their real selves, but
Bench is getting better every year, and this year was an excellent breakout year!
