Some of these things are in the game or not in the game as you describe them (at least not how I've seen). I question if you've actually played the game or just taken a list of things people have asked for in the past and reposted them.
That being said the opening day roster thing is annoying and should be fixed. The season start date should be the day before opening day. So the game forces either you or the AI to cut the roster before opening day.
