Darryl Strawberry played 15 years (83-92 Reds, 92-93 Cubs, 94 Reds, 95 Tigers, 96 Marlins, 97 Rangers). He won the 1983 Rookie of the Year and was a 4 time All-Star. He was a career .258 hitter with 390 HRs. He led the league 3 times in HRs (83, 87 and 88). He had 50 in 1987. In 1986 he led the league in OBP with .421 and SLG with .620.

The Reds traded him during the 1992 season along with Bruce Ruffin, for Julio Franco, Rudy Seanz, Eric Anthony and $600,000.

Then in 1994 before the season started the Cubs traded him back to the Reds for Rick Reed and Henry Mercedes.
