Jack Clements, C, Phillies
Power-hitting catcher was a key component to the team's many pennants, particularly as a starter in 1888, 1891 and 1893-95 then as a bench player for several more. Won two Gold Gloves. Led the league in home runs in 1884 and finished Top 10 five times. Led the league in RBI in 1892 and finished Top 10 ten times. Finished Top 10 in doubles, slugging and OPS three times each.

Key piece to four Dodger pennants, particularly in 1890. Won 1896 Gold Glove. Finished Top 10 in stolen bases ten times, doubles twice and runs three times.

Led league in Total Bases three times, triples once and runs once. Led league in home runs for four consecutive seasons from 1889-1892.
