Injuries:
Cornell Pearson, Strained Hamstring, 5 weeks

Other News:
We have resigned all our minor league coaches expect for the pitching coach in AA New Orleans. Manager Alastair Turcottes contract expires at the end of next season.

GM Notes:
This was a great way to finish the season, running off 5 straight wins, makes me feel a little better about round 1 with our team hitting the ball like they have been.

Takayuki missed a 20 win season by one game. He had a slow start at the beginning of the season, but finished strong. Between Contreras, Hollis and Iemochi we have a pretty solid 1-2-3 punch. I will have to figure out what I am going to do with #4. Vaughan Griffith? Paul Brown? Armando Lopez? I am not sure, but I will have a decision to make for the playoffs. Missing Pearson hurts.

Javier Janchez finished the season off strong as could be. Hopefully that will be sign of thing sto come next season. That Fragile injury tag however does scare me a bit. Right now with Lewis, Janchez and Brock, we have a nice top of the order. All seem to be playing well and hitting the ball well.

I am excited to get the playoffs started, now I just need to put the finishing touches on my playoff roster. Six years in a row and with our pitching we should be contenders for a few more. We are going all out for the win this year, losing last year only made us want it more... Bring on the Barons.
