Thomas Picks Up Best MVConf Batter Honors for August: Free agent-to-be Abraham Thomas has inflated his asking price over the past 30 days by winning the MarVa Conference Batter of the Month. In August, the 36-year-old Annapolis third baseman hit .340 with 13 home runs and 32 RBIs. If he keeps putting numbers like that up, he could be hauling in a big wad of cash at this time next year. Thomas is currently batting .292 with 37 home runs and 110 RBIs.

Standings as of September 1, 2021
The Braves and Generals look to battle it out over the last 30 games, they only play each other 3 more times in the middle of the month. This should be a very good intense division fight.
Prediction: Dover Generals
The Colonials collasped, and the Clippers and Millers are now the front runners. Should be an interseting finish and I wouldn't count the Colonials out just yet. The Clippers seem to be playing the best ball right now, but anything can happen over the next 30. The Clippers and Colonials match up for 3 to end the season, and the Clippers and Millers match up only 3 more times this coming week.
Prediction: Milford Clippers
The Barons turned things on in August and seem to be riding high. The Tourists aren't out of it just yet, but the signs are still pointing to Baltimore to walk away. They Tourits will host the Barons at the end of the week for 3-games. Could this determine the winner?
Prediction: Baltimore Barons
The Cavaliers had a chance to clinch in August, but then fell apart, as their offense just couldn't score. Is it possible to blow a 20 game lead? It is, but it highly unlikely to happen. Look for the Cav's too play better in September.
Prediction: Norfolk Cavaliers
