Not that I have a lot of experience at running a team, but it seems logical that you would want to give him the most experience at where you might be lacking on your roster, either position player or pitcher. Though looking at him strictly objectively, it appears he would have more of an impact as a position player. He has all of the 5 tools as far as potential, hit for power, hit for average, speed, fielding and arm. As a pitcher, he only has 2 pitches that are plus, not outstanding velocity and only has bullpen potential. Again, need could determine where to play him, but his appearance is more impact as a hitter.
