Would someone please tell me why they feel I should not make it in with or instead of Alfsen? I am not sure I want to induct 3 players, 2 maybe 1 yes but not sure about 3 and I am biased so I don't want to pick myself if I can help it.
this is my argument for me vs Alfsen.
I was on a better team that won 4 Championships.
i am a former MVP he has not even finished in the top 3 to my knowledge.
I was considered the 2nd best RF behind John Wayne in the EBL, Alfsen despite his .332 AVG was considered the 3rd sometimes 4th best player on his team after Mike Michigan, Sparky Smith and sometimes Mark Keller.
I played a more defensive position and while I am not a GG winner I was in the top 3 with Pat Parayno & Gimm Cummings who had better arms. I also played more then one position tin my later years to accommodate players who were better defensively , along with offensively than myself.
I hit decently in the playoffs, Alf has what one playoff appearance, if any.
So make an argument against my induction.
i can only think of 2 AVG and he played longer.
