I was running a historical sim starting in 1901, but then I noticed that til 1905 nothing changed, all the teams remained the same. In the normal OOTP database a lot of teams changed names, moved etc. when you play historical and use the option. I'm talking about historical league expansion of course, not the fictional/random one.

Why is this? I did click the button required for it to happen automatically each year. Is it because I use GamboSpritzeOOTP14v2? I noticed in the OOTP 15 folder that in the standard db the game draws the information out of a file, which is a file that is not in the GamboSpritze db.
