Better transparency in owner contract denials

I have a severe issue with contract negotiations that are denied by the owner like the one below:

Quote:
Your owner does NOT approve this deal, you do not have enough money available! Your projected payroll in year 2 of the contract is higher than the projected budget, by $15,200,443.

The phrase "year 2" does not have explicit meaning. Please use the actual year, like "2014". I don't really know if "year 2" accounts for option years or what. Saying the exact year gets rid of all confusion.

Also, I have no clue why the owner thinks this is above the projected budget. When I look at the "Salaries" page for my assumed year 2 of this deal, the total payroll is $51M. My misc expenses are around 17M. My current budget is $90M and the contract for that year is $9M. So how is this over the budget???

My suggestion is to show a screen that explains exactly why it is over budget. This screen should contain the budget for the year and each player's salary for that year so I can explicitly see why this contract is not being allowed. This will allow me to make decisions as to how I can get the contract to be approved.
