IPA PENNANTS DECIDED, PRO CUP BEGINS SOON
The 2048 season is history. For the first time in some time there were no close pennant races. Six of the eight IPA divisions were decided by 10 games or more. Only Claxton and Sugar Valley had much pressure this year and they both won fairly comfortably. The Diamonds won the Ruthlandian South by 7 games and the Rattlers prevailed by 9 in the Ruthlandian East.

Both Valmara of the RU North and Southport of the TU South chalked up 100 or more victories. The Vipers led the IPA with 102 wins this year with the defending Pro Cup champion Sun Sox totaling 101 victories. No one lost that many games, but a couple of clubs came close. San Dimas of the RU South and Fort Benton of the RU West dropped 99 games each for the worst marks in the league this season.
