If you do not make his stats into MLE's he may be overrated and appear in the big leagues way too soon.
I have a group of formulas that create MLE's based on a players age and MiLB level as well as the type of league.
Example: you have 2 players that hit .300 in the minors. One is 21 years old and the other is 32. One played in a pitcher dominated league (the 21 yr old) and one in a hitters paradise. The 32 year old played in AA and the 21 year old in AAA. Their MLE ratings will be hugely different as their stats under go adjustments.
