Along the lines of more interaction, I'd like to see the option of more interaction with the players.

Guy had a great game? GM should be able to give an interview or quote praising the player's (dedication/leadership/work ethic, etc.) with a resultant morale boost (or drop if you screw it up) for that player.

Starter hasn't lasted more than 3 innings in a game since before the all-star break? Maybe a closed door meeting to talk to him and see if there is something causing the performance drop, with a possible resolution.

These interactions could also affect your rep as a GM. Are you a real hard-ass who hangs his players out to dry? Maybe it gets tougher to sign good the guys who don't have the right traits to handle that.

Like the morale system this should be totally optional. I think, though, it would add a little more depth to dealing with your players and being able to build a dynasty.
