In fact, rereading the manual I see that it explicitly states that US created players are not better than players created in other nations. I'm guessing league reputation will have to do with whether players are willing to go to teams in that league, but that's not clear in the manual.
So I'm thinking maybe there's not a way to make this happen?
What do other users of independent leagues do to keep their skill levels in the realm that you'd like to see them?
