We were down 4 to 2 in the top of the 9th with 2 outs and Poppy, of all people, came through with a big hit to tie the game. He had 2 hits with a double, scored a run and had 3 RBIs. I had 2 hits, scored twice and knocked one in. C Henry Newman had 2 hits with a triple and scored twice.
Everette allowed 10 hits and was knocked around pretty hard in the early going, but settled down over the final 3 frames. No plans on him taking Bendy's job, yet though.
