THE SWAMI'S PRE-SEASON FAVS

Hey there, its the Swam! Here are my pre-season picks for Modern Era baseball

AL East:
Boston Red Sox The Sox have retooled and I think this is their year to do it. Despite the juggernaut in Jersey and a floundering New York Yankees squad, I expect the Sox to do big things this year with a bolstered lineup that can compete with any in the bigs.

AL Central
Toronto Blue JaysThe Jays are flying high once again. This club, will have to fight the Racers hard, but in the end, I think the birds will win it in a hare.

AL Pacific
Anchorage Sky ChiefsHow can you go against the SKY CHIEFS?! This club is due to win after years of being frustrated behind the Oregon juggernaut. They'll pull it out in 2013.

AL South
Baltimore OriolesCan the SWAM go for the quad-fecta? That's right he can. This club is retooled and fresh off a ring, Jesse Foppert is going to help lead the O's to victory, celebrating the sale of the club after their longtime owner Peter Angelos died who wrecked one of the proudest franchises in baseball.

NL East
Pittsburgh PiratesThe Bucs are back, after handing the keys to the Mets for the past two years.

NL Central
Great Plains Express Baseball in the heartland! This club stake its claim to the first division the franchise has seen in its history, because remember, that old Marlins team only won a Wild Card.

NL West
Nevada Silverhawks We're going to be sitting in centerfield, at the Brewery Restaurant, on the bar stool seats, facing Centerfield. I'll be there, waiting to cheer on the 'HAWKS in their pursuit of the World Series

NL South
New Orleans PelicansIs this year for the birds? This club has hard a long road to get where it is now. I know they'll be the best thing this city has seen since...the SAINTS...Since they're no longer marching in and the Hornets have lost their sting, all hope rests on this club.

With that fans, the Swam signs off.
