here's my similar question. I have a 2B at AA, rated 70 at 2B (on the 80 pt scale), but his fielding ratings (range, error, DP) are all also around 70. I want to teach him to play SS. I know if I play him there for a month or two, he will probably get a 20 rating at SS. But, if I play him there, how will he be? Won't his specific defensive ratings be more important than his experience?
