If they're calling Appel "fragile", I sure don't see it on this line. 34 games, 223 IP? You might want to do a fresh physical on him, because if he is healthy I'd actually probably go after him first after I see his FIP and GB%. He looked like a workhorse, and I think that his W/L and ERA may be more deceiving than they appear.
Honestly, him aside I think your best target is to go after Barnes. His numbers check in slightly better than Rosenthal, though I'd love to see FIP numbers on him as well. Rosenthal's FIP was worst on your staff at 4.40, which tells me that your defense probably saved his butt on more than one occasion.
Second behind Barnes would probably be Banuelos, though it would be close with Peters. The one distinguishing feature I see between the two is that Banuelos had about 25-30 more Ks than Peters despite a slightly higher ERA and the same number of innings.
