I believe that 3D has seriously enriched Football Manager experience. I tried once play CM0102 with commentaries only. It's impossible! Watching the players run, pass and so on is better because I see how their attributes are "implemented" in real game, so it's not just dry numbers. I think something similar will be in OOTP ONLY IF PLAYER ANIMATIONS WILL BE CONSISTENT WITH THEIR ATTRIBUTES.
That's the reason why on business meetings they always show graphs. Have you seen business meetings without graphs? It helps to visualize. It doesn't replace thinking but helps to visualize and understand how the numbers work.
