I've been following the 2014 World Cup and I thought it would be cool to create a World Cup of baseball. I took a 16 team league and added a lot of countries to the player origin. Then I simmed seven seasons and created this World Cup. There are sixteen teams divided into four pools, with the top two in each advancing to the double-elimination knockout round. I will be giving daily and group previews, and you can follow along with the tournament one day at a time. Right now I'm putting the schedule into OOTP, but otherwise I'm ready to go.
