Season preview:
After the nail biting and grey hair caused by how painful last season was this team needed to take a few steps in the right direction. Sadly the team overall does not seem all that much more impressive than last year. We have decent depth but we had to make a decision on Kane and that meant losing out on an elite player. If Price improves and the younger players continue to develop then we will have a chance at the playoffs again. I have managed to shed all the salary I wanted except for Briere, who will be the most expensive 4th liner in the league but will walk after the season.

As expected October was a bust as the team went 6-7-0. We have struggled offensively and defensively. There have been no positives to this month except to say that we actually won as many games as we did. Not much is currently in the works to improve on this and currently I refuse to blow up the future of the team to barely break even.
