If they ask for that stuff to be taken down, it will be taken down. But they haven't asked yet. You're acting like the MLB is going to see something hosted on OOTPMods and immediately take legal action, but like you said, the most they can do is issue a C&D; legal action would ONLY follow if the offending mods were left up. And if they do request them to be taken down, I would expect the site to take it down. And that'll be the end of that. I don't see the point in worrying about how the MLB MIGHT do something about OOTPMods... either they do or they don't, so it doesn't matter what gets hosted there now.
EDIT: I'm also not submitting the Quickstart to OOTPMods, however. If someone wants to do it, they can, but I'm planning on releasing a new one for every patch, just in case. So I don't want to go through the hassle of constantly requesting the current QS to be taken down and hosting the new one. And I'm positive Markus will get something worked out with the MLB for OOTP16, so there will be little need for it after that point.
