Saturday July 22 at Boston Red Caps (24-22 tied for 3rd place in the Liberty League)

The Red Caps have lost 3 in a row since pitcher Monk Cunningham went on the shelf. I bet we can find a way to revive their fading hopes.....

St. Louis (9) at Detroit (5): John Bailey (3-7) over John Walker (12-9). 1b Oren Chapman had 4 hits and knocked in a pair. 2b Bob Rene had 3 hits and a double and knocked in 4.

Washington (3) at New York (5): John Kyle (5-9) over Pete Tyson (15-17). ss Dick Comp had 3 hits for New York.

Down in the International Association, Rochester beat Lynn 6 to 4. Pitcher Madison Coy improved his record to 20-11.
