Tuesday July 11 at Baltimore Canaries (16-25 tied for 7th place in the Liberty League)

Abe Lowe, Troy (27 R 14-16 2.06) vs. Miller Bullock, Balt. (27 L 10-12 2.48)

Won: 10 to 0

Abe Lowe with a 5-hitter, his first shutout of the year! First team to ever toss back-to-back shutouts! 2b Dan Owens and 1b Willard DeVaux each had 3 hits. DeVaux had a double and Owens had a triple.

Other doin's:
St. Louis (8) at Philadelphia (10): Paul Skinner (19-11) over John Bailey (1-5). 1b Jack Farnham had 3 hits, a double and 4 RBIs for Philly.

Boston (6) at Washington (3): Monk Cunningham (16-17) over Pete Tyson (13-16). Cunningham held Washington to 4 hits. 1b Sam Simpson had a double and 3 hits and knocked in a pair.

Detroit (9) at New York (1): John Walker (10-7) over Harry Mays (18-12). Walker held New York to 5 hits. 2b Connie Frost had a double and a single and knocked in 4 runs for the Wolverines.

Down in the International Association, Columbus failed to score in the 8th inning and lost to Providence, 9 to 6.
