Ulrich's magic wasn't there today, Bayer's losing streak is at 4!

We simply are having a bad stretch, as i hoped that Ulrich can put a stop on ManC today. Instead, he got slapped around and got taken out after a 2-run homer by Ivano Pinchuk(71,29y). Van Leeuwen and Mun pitched 4.2 scoreless bullpen innings so keep us in the game, and Cerny and Riberio both went 3-4 today, but were only driven in 2 times by Val Moreno.

Nannini going down on a hit by pitch really got things boiling, but instead retaliating by throwing at them, we scored runs in bunches. Nannini's replacement Luqman Harith got the spot-start in right field tonight and went 2-3 with 2RBI and a stolen base.

Hamburg wore out Ulrich after 5.2 innings, and we went to the pen trailing 2-3. Derr scored on a balk in the 7th to tie it, and there the game stayed until the 15th. Eldjárn walked Brierley and Emerson drove him in later and scored himself to make it 5-3 Hamburg. Cerny homered in the bottom 15th, and the tieing & go ahead runs were on second and first with one out after a Riberio double and Pinto's walk. But Arthurton struck out, and Leo Moreno was the final out on a first pitch flyout.
