RED SOX PAD TU EAST LEAD TO 4
Homers and hurlers are still the first place Red Bluff Red Sox's (48-34) modus operandi... the Red Sox are the reigning division champion for two years in a row... they managed to put a little more space between them and runner-up Tuckanarra (44-38) in the Tycobbian East race with a 15-11 mark during the month... the Blue Jays slipped to 13-13 and now trail by four games... South Fork (43-39) and Hillsboro (43-39) are five games out and deadlocked for the third spot in the division...the Stallions had a decent 14-12 month, while the Blazers were 15-11... Red Bluff leads the IPA in homers with 134, but are nowhere near their record-breaking pace of 283 last season... however the mound corps has stepped it up to the IPA elite status this year with a 2.97 team ERA... excellent pitching and good firepower are two good ingredients for a Pro Cup.
