Players in the CL making over $11 million are not making money in US dollars. See, the CL pays it players in Jamaican Dollars.

Basically, divide whatever the salary is by 59 to get the actual salary in US dollars. It only matters for contracts. All players coming from the CL to the Modern Era therefore, will make the league minimum, but can become free agents after just three years of service.
