Johnnie is the youngest son of Harry "Knockout" Walker and the great grandson of Harry "The Hat" Walker. Like his father and brother Harold his is a left handed pitcher. He is a good strikeout pitcher who likes to go the distance. Johnnie and his brother grew up in Atlantic City not far from where their father Harry was from in Hoboken. Thier mother Alice worked as a Blackjack dealer. Johnnie lived briefly with his father when Harry played for the Angels while Harold stayed in Atlantic City. Johnnie & his brother wanted to play so badley for the NY Mets that they declared that if they were not drafted by the MEts that they would not play for any other MLB team. In a deal made with Harry Walker the ford Thunderbirds signed both Walkers to a 2 yr deal. After that deal runs out they will wither be resigned or let go as FA, able to sign with whichever team they choose. Harry Walker is the Thunderbirds PC thru 2021.
