Win 6-4 (10 innings). W: Street (2-3, 1.82). Padres scored two in the top of the tenth inning. Maybin 2-2, 2 RBI, 2 BB, HR (2), .260. Our bullpen threw 4.1 IP, striking out 5 and allowing no hits.

Win 13-5. W: Cashner (6-3, 2.99, Game Score: 36). Padres had four separate 3-run innings while getting 18 hits and 4 walks. Our bullpen had 4 innings pitched with 5 strikeouts and no runs allowed. Our top batters were Gyorko: 3-6, 3 RBI, 2 R, HR (11), Maybin: 4-6, 2 RBI, 4 R, HR (3), Grandal: 3-4, 2 RBI, 3 R, HR (5), Quentin: 3-4, 2 RBI, 2 R, Sweeney: 3-5, 2 RBI.

Tim Stauffer injured his back and will be out 5 days. As a result, Valbuena was sent down to make room for P Casey Kelly. Kelly will pitch out of the 5th spot in the rotation for a start or two, while De La Rosa will be moved to the bullpen as a middle relief man.
