Summary: Tigers win 6th straight behind Scherzer's wizardy.

Pitching: Scherzer continues to impress with his mastery of the strike zone. For the 7th straight time since the beginning of the season, he struck out 7+ batters in a game.

In this one, the Astros were only able to get 3 singles, a walk, and a HBP off him - and he punched out 9 in a 111-pitch (71 strikes), 8 inning start for the win. [Video overview of start]

Pity he didn't have enough left in the tank to throw a complete game, which would have been the first of his career. That's right - he's never thrown a CG.
