TOP DEFENDERS IN THE IPA CHOSEN BY RU AND TU
The Islandian Pro Alliance announced the 2045 Golden Glove Awards for the Ruthlandian Union and the Tycobbian Union. Heading up the RU Gold Glovers were left fielder Eldon Aldridge of Ancona and shortstop Anto Dakos of Valmara, who were chosen for the third time in their careers to the elite squad. Center fielder Carl Ramsey of Sugar Valley picked up his second trophy. The Tycobbian Golden Glovers were led by left fielder Sogo Takagi of Ginza and catcher Frank Penn of Hartsdale. They were selected the best defenders for the third time. All other honorees were first timers. No rookies made the teams this year.
