Kinda of similar to the idea you first mentioned Jay, one thing I always enjoyed trying to do is what-if situation where the Federal League continued to be strong(Cubs wouldn't have moved to Wrigley if that were the case!) Then the PCL would become a fourth major league. Also toyed around with the idea of the Continental League had actually gotten off the ground.
