Minnesota Twins Dynasty: 2014 and on

After three years of being a bottom dwelling team in the AL Central, the Minnesota Twins decided to take some drastic measures. The Twins let go of former General Manager Terry Ryan today and named C.J. Sandmann as the new GM. This news outraged fans as they learned that Sandmann has had no experience in the front office.

The 24 year old has already made ground breaking strides by becoming the youngest GM in baseball history. Jon Daniels of the Texas Rangers was previously the youngest GM when he was hired by Texas in 2005 when Daniels was 28. Some fans believe that he will bring about change in the twin cities and bring them back to their glory days from a few years ago.

"My goal is to make the Minnesota Twins the best baseball team they can be. I have full faith in manager Ron Gardenhire and his staff and I look forward to working with them. Now, the road is going to have a few bumps in it but we plan on being victorious and becoming contenders again." said Sandmann in a press conference this morning.

The Twins will start their season off in Chicago against the White Sox on March 31st.
