Sm #6 - Maniacs Showing Some Signs of Life - Go 3-4
Sim 6: May 12th to May 19th 2031
The Maniacs had a decent sim this time around managing to win 3 of their 7 games. The opened the sim losing to Vancouver, and then dropped 2 of 3 against Chicago. They would lose the opening game of a 3 game set against Denver before taking the last 2 and winning a series for just the second time this season. They then dropped the opener of a 4 game set against Louisville to end the sim. The 3-4 sim pushes the teams overall record to 10-22 and the Maniacs still occupy the basement in the FCB Eastern Division trailing Montreal by 9 games. In the overall standings Toronto is tied for dead last in the FCB with the Las Vegas Black Jacks.
GM Ryan Stewart "Well it is starting to look like we are going to be out of the playoff picture already and that is sad to say considering the season isn't even two months old. We new that we still had a long way to go before contending but I didn't think we would get off to such a bad start"
The Trade Deadline is just 10 weeks off and the way the Maniacs are playing they look like they will be definite sellers once the end of July rolls around.
