IPA BOYCOTT OVER! PLAYERS COMING BACK!
Sanity reigned in the Islandian Pro Alliance as the players and owners came together and reached an agreement to end the player boycott. The owners agreed to pay the players their full salary for the two months they missed, if they would sign contract that gave them a five per cent salary increase for the remainder of the season.

The pay deadlock ended after the owners agreed to open up their financials records to the players. Apparently the auditors proved that it would put about half of the IPA clubs in financial jeopardy should they acquiesce to the players demands.
