Waiting for Opening Day is like being a kid on Christmas Eve: you can't wait, the anticipation distracts and excites you at all the same time, and you feel irritated at the pace of laggard time. Nothing on television, the radio, or in print captures your attention for more than five minutes as you wait for the two words that makes every fan's heart flutter:
