FHM2 will be out next fall; we released the current version in September, but that date will likely move back a bit next time. The exact timing of the next patch depends on how testing goes in the next few days (the coding should be done tomorrow), but it won't be very long as it'll only involve changes to existing systems, not the introduction of entirely new ones. The date of the match engine patch will be harder to predict, I won't really have a good idea of that until I can see how it functions once we drop it into the game.

It's asked fairly often, so that may have something to do with it - the guys who respond regularly may feel that they've already had their say. I generally don't respond to those threads myself as I'm not really going to add anything credible to them - you're presumably looking for opinions a little more unbiased than mine.
