Decided to give the new patch a go for a few days before posting. I can see progress being made here with the new game systems such as Scouting and I feel that the game is moving in the right direction in some aspects.

However, I still see some of the elements of the game that haven't been right since day one still either the same or in no better shape e.g. Trading, Signing Prospects and signing Free Agents (Average players with little NHL experience who are looking for more inflated salaries than ever before being the main issue).

I have also seen that players aren't progressing and reaching even close to their potential ratings after 3/4 seasons and that is even with increases in some attributes. To be mentioning workarounds and a patch for a patch already is pretty poor.

The fact that people are still reporting bugs/crashes at this time is concerning as we are now rapidly approaching the end of March 2014 and there is still the Match Engine patch to come and 'another major patch' if I have read the posts correctly (not sure if I misread that).

Time is moving on towards what I imagine will be the development time for FHM2015 and its eventual release I imagine at the end of Q3/Q4 2014. With many issues still prevalent in the current version will the new version iron them out as little if any progress has been made on them since September 2013.

My confidence that FHM2105 will be much of an improvement is quite low at present. I also imagine that some of the features that some people will be hoping for in the next version might not be included as in my opinion the priority really needs to be fixing this versions issues in FHM2015.

I really want this game to succeed but I just find with the issues I see and experience that I find it hard to like playing it.
