LOL. No, as pstrickert pointed out, maybe some of the labeling and terminology is confusing.
But single reason replay mode is a way that people who play DMB or SOM can do a single season replay based on one year of historical stats and then stop there if they want. But OOTP is designed for career games, so the software doesn't stop after one season unless you simply stop using your saved game and don't simulate any further.
You can keep playing forward and run future seasons based on a one-year recalc. If you're using real transactions and lineups, along with automatic expansion and so on, you can keep simulating seasons "strict replay style", based on the one-year recalculation. So it's like being able to continue your DMB or SOM replays all the way through baseball history, and OOTP tracks all the stats, records, and history for you. There's no need to compile stats to an encyclopedia or anything like that. And, best of all, you're not spending over $1,000 on season disks!
